Galatasaray Square

You two are fantastic for so many reasons.

At the gallery entryway.

Emirel and Alex from Stockholm, one of the most fashionable cities on the planet. I actually borrow heavily on that style myself. Clean lines, subtle use of bold color, sophisticated.
Welcome to Istanbul!
(Apologies for the over-exposed shot)

Abdullah & Abdullah from Dubai.

A quick adjustment......and ready!I could have talked with these blokes for hours. They really knew fashion and how to have fun with it. Happy new year!

Denim jacket by J.P. Gaultier, shoes by Dolce&Gabbana.
Sunglasses by Diesel and Marc Jacobs, respectively.

So happy to see you again.

Great hat, great scarf, great skirt, great smile!
(funny window displays in the bottom left, eh?)

Wintertime in Tünel

Emre, a brilliant tattoo artist and bass player with all-around hip-girl artist Nilufer.

Crimson groove

Beyoğlu has the most with-it people. Everybody seems to have talent and an interesting history. I didn’t get his, but wanted to ask. It is no wonder that it is the thriving heart of the city. Istiklâl Caddesi is like a magnet for creative-types.
Observe the crimson ring and fall into a trance.

She stood out from the crowd…

Cool deconstructed shawl/hoodie/jacket ensemble.

Friends out for a stroll.

Renaissance man for the modern age.

I'd like to take this moment to introduce Coşkun Bey, a unique persona of equal parts artist, entrepreneur, kick boxer, and much more.

As a host his politeness and gracious attitude, suave attire and flawless manners are well received. His genuine sincerity, interesting stories, range of talents and above all his positive outlook are inspiring.

All qualities of a true Istanbul beyefendi.

Smooth cats, for sure. This pair was born cool.

Him: It's all about how you carry your instrument, accessorize with what you play. Jacket and layering, clean lines; chic yet down-to-Earth. Confident and artistic.

Her: The boots are what first caught my eye, so many buckles! Great scarf combination, subtle yet pronounced. Color coordination dialed in, the jacket belt tied just so, her hair worn in a wholly unique way. This girl is goin' places.

Clever jewel merchant in Atlas Bazaar

Very good use of complimentary colors and simplified pattern lines. Was it by chance the color of the knit hat and sweatshirt match objects in the room. Or was that part intentional? :-)
Bravo, also good use of surroundings.

Good Friends at Heart

On this particular day, Istanbul was completely composed in shades of gray. Very cold and rainy outside. Walking into this room was like stepping into some Technicolor lava lamp universe, so much color. It was indeed a nice moment.
